What is Game Changers Athletic Education Foundation?

Game Changers Athletic Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to developing student-athletes into disciplined, accountable, and purpose-driven leaders. Through education, mentorship, and community-centered programs, we equip young athletes with the tools needed to succeed both on and off the field—long after competition ends.

What makes Game Changers different from traditional programs?

Game Changers goes beyond performance and competition. While traditional programs focus on athletic success, we focus on who athletes become. Our approach combines real-world education, mentorship, lived experiences, and community involvement to prepare athletes for life, leadership, and responsibility—not just the next game.

Is Game Changers affiliated with any professional sports leagues?

No. Game Changers is an independent nonprofit organization. While we collaborate with current and former professional athletes, coaches, and industry leaders, we operate solely in service of student-athletes and communities—free from league or commercial influence.

Who are Game Changers programs designed for?

Our programs serve student-athletes ages 12–20, including middle school, high school, and early college athletes. We also work alongside parents, schools, coaches, mentors, and community partners who are committed to supporting athletes’ long-term development, character, and well-being.

What types of programs does Game Changers offer?

Game Changers offers three core initiatives:
Game Changer Conferences, one-day educational events held nationwide;
Right to Play: Rite of Passage (R2P), a 12–16 week mentorship program for schools;
and Athletic Education Advocacy, advancing character-based athletic education as elective coursework. Each program focuses on integrity, leadership, accountability, life skills, and decision-making beyond sports.

How can I get involved with Game Changers?

There are many ways to get involved. You can participate as a speaker, mentor, volunteer, school partner, donor, or community supporter. Whether you are an athlete, coach, educator, parent, or professional, your involvement helps shape future leaders and strengthen the communities they represent. Why does Game Changers focus on deviance in sports?

Sports are powerful, but without guidance, pressure to win, unchecked influence, and lack of accountability can lead to harmful behavior. Game Changers addresses deviance early by teaching character, responsibility, and decision-making—helping athletes understand consequences before mistakes define their future.
